A quick and vibrant 5-Minute Zesty Chili Lime Marinade made with fresh lime juice, chili powder, garlic, and olive oil, perfect for chicken, seafood, steak, and vegetables.
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon lime zest
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: pinch red pepper flakes
Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
In a medium bowl, whisk together lime juice and lime zest.
Add olive oil slowly while whisking to combine.
Stir in chili powder, minced garlic, honey, salt, and black pepper.
Mix until honey dissolves and spices are evenly distributed.
Pour over 1 to 1 1/2 pounds of protein or vegetables and coat thoroughly.
Marinate chicken or steak for 30 minutes to 4 hours, shrimp for 15 to 30 minutes, and vegetables for 20 to 40 minutes.
