2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup buttermilk (optional)
1 large egg
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Cooking spray or oil mist
Trim and flatten chicken breasts to an even thickness.
(Optional) Marinate in buttermilk for 30 minutes; pat dry.
Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
