Soft and fudgy chocolate cookies combining brownie richness with classic cookie texture.

Ingredients

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 large eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet.
  • Melt chocolate chips and butter until smooth.
  • Whisk eggs and sugars until slightly thickened.
  • Mix melted chocolate into egg mixture and add vanilla.
  • Combine dry ingredients and fold into batter.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop onto baking sheet and bake 9–11 minutes.
  • Cool before serving.

Notes

Chill dough for thicker cookies.
Do not overbake for soft centers.
