These burger dinner foil packets combine seasoned beef patties, tender potatoes, and veggies into a fun, easy-to-cook meal perfect for the oven, grill, or campfire.
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
2 cups Yukon Gold potatoes, diced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
4 slices cheddar cheese
Optional: pickles, ketchup, mustard, bacon bits, jalapeños
Preheat oven to 400°F or heat grill to medium-high.
Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into 4 patties.
In a bowl, toss potatoes, onion, and bell pepper with oil, salt, and pepper.
Lay out 4 large sheets of foil. Divide potato mixture among them. Top with a beef patty.
Seal the foil packets tightly.
Bake or grill for 30–35 minutes (or cook over campfire for 25–30 minutes).
Open carefully, top with cheese, and let melt before serving.
Dice potatoes small for even cooking.
