A hearty one-pan meal of crispy roasted potatoes, smoked sausage, and melted cheddar, all coated in bold ranch seasoning. Comfort food made simple.

2 lbs red or Yukon Gold potatoes, diced
14 oz smoked sausage, sliced
1 ranch seasoning packet
2–3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Cut potatoes into 1-inch pieces and slice sausage.

  • Toss potatoes and sausage with oil and ranch seasoning.

  • Spread into dish, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.

  • Remove foil, stir, and bake uncovered for 20–25 more minutes.

  • Add cheese and return to oven for 5–7 minutes to melt.

  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Add garnish if desired.
