This Cheesy Taco Crunch Beef Skillet combines seasoned meat, beans, salsa, chips, and cheese in one pan for a fast and flavorful dinner perfect for busy nights.
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning or 2 tbsp homemade blend
1/3 cup water
1 cup salsa or tomato sauce
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
2 cups tortilla chips, lightly crushed
1½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
Optional toppings: chopped tomatoes, green onions, avocado, cilantro, sour cream
Brown the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it into pieces. Drain fat.
Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Stir in salsa and black beans. Cook for 3–5 minutes.
Reduce heat. Mix in a handful of crushed chips.
Top with shredded cheese and melt using a lid or broiler.
Garnish with toppings and serve warm.
