This Cheesy Taco Crunch Beef Skillet combines seasoned meat, beans, salsa, chips, and cheese in one pan for a fast and flavorful dinner perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning or 2 tbsp homemade blend
1/3 cup water
1 cup salsa or tomato sauce
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
2 cups tortilla chips, lightly crushed
1½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
Optional toppings: chopped tomatoes, green onions, avocado, cilantro, sour cream

Instructions

  • Brown the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it into pieces. Drain fat.

  • Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  • Stir in salsa and black beans. Cook for 3–5 minutes.

  • Reduce heat. Mix in a handful of crushed chips.

  • Top with shredded cheese and melt using a lid or broiler.

  • Garnish with toppings and serve warm.
