A festive and creamy cheese log rolled in tart cranberries and toasted pecans—perfect for holiday gatherings, charcuterie boards, or cozy appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened

  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup dried cranberries, chopped

  • ½ cup toasted pecans, chopped

  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, half the cranberries, and half the pecans. Season lightly.

  2. Transfer to plastic wrap and shape into a log. Chill for 1 hour.

  3. On a plate, mix the remaining cranberries and pecans.

  4. Unwrap the cheese log and roll in the cranberry-pecan coating. Press gently to adhere.

  5. Chill until ready to serve. Let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Try with dried cherries or walnuts. Make up to 3 days ahead. Serve with crackers, crostini, or veggies.
