A cozy, creamy beef pasta recipe made with tender pasta, rich cream sauce, and seasoned ground beef — perfect for quick family dinners.
1 lb ground beef
12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or fusilli)
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup beef broth
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
Optional: red pepper flakes, baby spinach, mushrooms
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in tomato paste and cook 1–2 minutes.
Add beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and simmer 5–7 minutes to thicken.
Add Parmesan and mix until melted.
Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
Cook 2–3 minutes more, then serve hot.
Substitute with ground turkey or plant-based meat if desired.
Add veggies like spinach or mushrooms for variety.
