A cozy, creamy beef pasta recipe made with tender pasta, rich cream sauce, and seasoned ground beef — perfect for quick family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or fusilli)

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Optional: red pepper flakes, baby spinach, mushrooms

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic.

  • Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in tomato paste and cook 1–2 minutes.

  • Add beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

  • Stir in heavy cream and simmer 5–7 minutes to thicken.

  • Add Parmesan and mix until melted.

  • Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.

  • Cook 2–3 minutes more, then serve hot.

Notes

  • Substitute with ground turkey or plant-based meat if desired.

  • Add veggies like spinach or mushrooms for variety.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
