A creamy one-pan Cajun chicken orzo made with tender chicken, bold spices, and a rich Parmesan cream sauce.
1 1/2 pounds chicken
1 cup orzo
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Season and cook chicken until browned, then set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic in butter.
Toast orzo briefly, then add broth and simmer.
Stir in cream and Parmesan until smooth.
Return chicken to the pan and serve warm.
Stir occasionally while cooking to prevent orzo from sticking.
