Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken features golden seared chicken breasts simmered in a rich garlic cream sauce finished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Season chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Sear chicken 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Add garlic to skillet and cook 30 seconds.
Pour in chicken broth and simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
Add Parmesan gradually, stirring until smooth.
Stir in Italian seasoning and adjust seasoning as needed.
Return chicken to skillet and simmer 5 to 7 minutes until sauce thickens.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
