A creamy, flavorful chicken skillet featuring seared chicken in a rich garlic-Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for a cozy dinner with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh spinach (optional)
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes (optional)
Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • Reduce heat. Add remaining butter and garlic, cook 1–2 minutes.

  • Add broth, deglaze pan, and simmer 1 minute.

  • Stir in cream, cook 2–3 minutes to thicken.

  • Add Parmesan, stir until fully melted.

  • Return chicken to skillet, simmer 3–4 minutes.

  • Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes if using. Serve warm.
