A creamy, flavorful chicken skillet featuring seared chicken in a rich garlic-Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for a cozy dinner with minimal cleanup.
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh spinach (optional)
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes (optional)
Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Reduce heat. Add remaining butter and garlic, cook 1–2 minutes.
Add broth, deglaze pan, and simmer 1 minute.
Stir in cream, cook 2–3 minutes to thicken.
Add Parmesan, stir until fully melted.
Return chicken to skillet, simmer 3–4 minutes.
Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes if using. Serve warm.
