2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale.
  • Gently fold in flour, then add melted butter and vanilla.
  • Pour into pan and bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes. Cool completely.
  • Slice strawberries and toss with sugar; let sit 15 minutes.
  • Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
