1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
12 skewers

Instructions

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using wooden skewers.

  • Cut steak into even cubes and pat shrimp dry.

  • Season steak with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Season shrimp lightly with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Thread steak and shrimp onto skewers.

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  • Grill skewers 8–10 minutes, turning frequently.

  • Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

  • Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.

  • Stir in lemon juice and red pepper flakes.

  • Brush garlic butter over grilled skewers.

Notes

Use large shrimp so cooking time stays close to the steak. Avoid overcooking shrimp to keep them tender.
