1 pound sirloin steak, cut into -inch cubes
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using.

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  • Toss steak with 1 tablespoon olive oil, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper, and smoked paprika.

  • Toss shrimp with remaining olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Thread steak and shrimp onto skewers.

  • Grill steak skewers for 4 to 5 minutes per side until medium.

  • Grill shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side until opaque.

  • Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  • Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and parsley.
