4 cups beef broth
3 carrots
3 potatoes
1 teaspoon thyme
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons parsley

Instructions

  • Toss beef with flour, salt, and pepper.

  • Brown beef in olive oil in batches.

  • Cook onion until softened and add garlic.

  • Stir in tomato paste.

  • Return beef to the pot and add broth.

  • Add carrots, potatoes, thyme, bay leaves, and Worcestershire sauce.
