This easy Tater Tot Casserole is a cozy, cheesy comfort dish with ground beef, creamy mushroom sauce, veggies, and crispy golden tater tots baked to perfection.
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
Add onion and garlic. Cook 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Add soup and milk; stir to combine. Mix in frozen vegetables.
Spread beef mixture into the baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the top.
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
Substitute ground turkey or vegetarian crumbles if desired.
Use cream of chicken or homemade white sauce instead of mushroom soup.
Store leftovers in the fridge up to 4 days.
