This easy Tater Tot Casserole is a cozy, cheesy comfort dish with ground beef, creamy mushroom sauce, veggies, and crispy golden tater tots baked to perfection.

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • ½ cup milk

  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess grease.

  • Add onion and garlic. Cook 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Add soup and milk; stir to combine. Mix in frozen vegetables.

  • Spread beef mixture into the baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.

  • Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the top.

  • Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

  • Rest 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute ground turkey or vegetarian crumbles if desired.

  • Use cream of chicken or homemade white sauce instead of mushroom soup.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge up to 4 days.
