Crusty bread loaded with garlic butter chicken, mozzarella, and cream cheese, baked until golden and melty. Perfect for slicing and serving warm.
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated Parmesan
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 large French or Italian loaf
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Melt butter and cook garlic until fragrant. Stir in parsley and set aside.
In a bowl, combine chicken, cream cheese, 1 cup mozzarella, ¼ cup Parmesan, seasoning, and some garlic butter.
Slice bread lengthwise and hollow out the center.
Stuff with chicken mixture. Top with remaining cheeses.
Close loaf, brush with garlic butter and olive oil.
Wrap in foil and bake 20 minutes.
Unwrap and bake 8–10 minutes more until golden.
Let rest, slice, and serve warm.
