Sweet honey barbecue chicken served with crispy roasted garlic Parmesan potatoes.

Ingredients

4 chicken thighs or breasts
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1½ pounds potatoes
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.

  • Toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Spread potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes.

  • Mix barbecue sauce, honey, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Add chicken to the pan and coat with sauce.

  • Roast chicken and potatoes for 20–25 minutes.

  • Turn potatoes halfway through cooking.

  • Sprinkle Parmesan and parsley over potatoes before serving.

Notes

Chicken thighs remain especially juicy and hold the barbecue glaze well.
