Tender turkey meatballs coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze—perfect for dinner, meal prep, or appetizers.

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 egg

  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp grated onion

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Glaze:

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (for slurry)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  • In a bowl, mix turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

  • Form into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.

  • Bake 18–20 minutes, flipping once, until internal temp reaches 165°F.

  • Meanwhile, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and sesame oil in a saucepan.

  • Bring to simmer, stir in cornstarch slurry, and cook until thickened.

  • Toss cooked meatballs in the sauce. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Use ground chicken or pork as a substitute.

  • Gluten-free breadcrumbs and tamari make this GF.

  • Make extra sauce for rice or noodle bowls.
