Tender turkey meatballs coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze—perfect for dinner, meal prep, or appetizers.
For the Meatballs:
1 lb ground turkey
1 egg
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp grated onion
1 tbsp soy sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Glaze:
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (for slurry)
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
In a bowl, mix turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
Form into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
Bake 18–20 minutes, flipping once, until internal temp reaches 165°F.
Meanwhile, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and sesame oil in a saucepan.
Bring to simmer, stir in cornstarch slurry, and cook until thickened.
Toss cooked meatballs in the sauce. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
Use ground chicken or pork as a substitute.
