A creamy and comforting chicken stroganoff made with tender chicken, mushrooms, and a rich sour cream sauce.
1 1/2 pounds chicken
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
8 ounces mushrooms
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Cook chicken until browned and set aside.
Sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms in butter.
Stir in flour and cook briefly.
Add broth and simmer until thickened.
Stir in sour cream and seasoning.
Return chicken to the pan and heat through.
Keep heat low after adding sour cream to maintain a smooth sauce.
