A bold, cheesy casserole that combines all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger layered like lasagna — ground beef, pickles, cheddar, ketchup, and creamy cheese sauce.
9 lasagna noodles, cooked
1½ lbs ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup ketchup
2 tbsp yellow mustard
½ cup chopped dill pickles (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz cream cheese or ricotta
½ cup sour cream or mayo
1 egg
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Optional: breadcrumbs or sesame seeds for topping
Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook noodles, drain, and set aside.
Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain fat. Stir in ketchup, mustard, and pickles.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, egg, salt, and pepper until smooth.
In a greased 9×13″ dish, layer: beef, noodles, cheese mix, shredded cheese — repeat layers.
Top with cheese and optional breadcrumbs or sesame seeds.
Cover with foil, bake 25 min. Uncover and bake 15–20 min more.
Let rest 10 min before serving.
Use oven-ready noodles for faster prep.
Add cooked bacon for a cheeseburger twist.
Freezes well before or after baking.
