2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix (dry)
2 large eggs
1 cup plain breadcrumbs
¾ cup water or milk
¼ cup ketchup (optional glaze)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line a baking sheet.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, soup mix, eggs, and liquid.
Add breadcrumbs and mix until just combined.
Shape into a loaf and place in the pan or on the sheet.
Spread ketchup on top if using.
Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Add grated cheese inside the loaf for a melty center.
