This comforting casserole features layers of creamy chicken, zesty seasoning, melty cheddar, and crunchy Nacho Cheese Doritos. It’s bold, filling, and quick to prepare.
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
1 packet taco seasoning
2½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 (9.75 oz) bag Nacho Cheese Doritos, lightly crushed
Optional: green onions, black beans, corn
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix chicken, soup, sour cream, tomatoes, taco seasoning, and 1½ cups of cheese.
Spread a layer of crushed Doritos on the bottom of the dish.
Spoon half the chicken mixture over the chips.
Add another layer of chips and the rest of the chicken mix.
Top with remaining 1 cup of cheese.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Add extra crushed Doritos and green onions just before serving.
