Tender steak bites pan-seared to perfection and tossed in a rich, sticky maple balsamic glaze. A 30-minute dish full of sweet-savory balance that’s ideal for dinners or parties.
1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
3 tablespoons butter, divided
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Pat steak cubes dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in batches, 1–2 minutes per side. Transfer to plate.
Reduce heat to medium. Add 1 tbsp butter and garlic; sauté 30 seconds.
Add maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, and soy sauce. Simmer 3–5 minutes until thickened.
Return steak to skillet, toss in glaze, and cook 1–2 minutes more.
Stir in remaining butter, garnish if desired, and serve hot.
Swap soy sauce for tamari if gluten-free.
Try adding red pepper flakes for heat.
Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
Leftovers keep in the fridge for 3 days; reheat gently
