  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (plus ½ cup for topping)

  • ½ cup sliced green onions

  • ½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)

  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed

  • ½ cup (1 stick) melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • In a large bowl, mix chicken, soup, sour cream, 1½ cups cheddar, green onions, and bacon (if using).

  • Spread mixture evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle reserved ½ cup cheese on top.

  • Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and spread over the top.
