A cozy and classic tater tot casserole made with ground beef, creamy soup, vegetables, cheese, and a crispy layer of tater tots. Perfect for family dinners, potlucks, or meal prepping.
1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag (28 oz) frozen tater tots
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
Optional: 1 small onion, diced
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a skillet, cook ground beef (and onion if using) over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, soup, and mixed vegetables. Stir in half of the cheese.
Spread the mixture into the baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
Arrange frozen tater tots evenly over the top.
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and the filling is bubbling.
Rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
