Sticky Sweet Chili Chicken Bites are crispy, golden chicken pieces tossed in a sweet, spicy glaze. Perfect as a quick dinner, appetizer, or party snack.
1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
1/2 cup cornstarch or potato starch
1 egg white (optional)
Oil for frying or air frying
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)
Pat chicken dry and cut into 1-inch chunks.
(Optional) Dip pieces in egg white, then coat in cornstarch.
Fry, air fry, or bake chicken until golden and crisp.
In a saucepan, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Simmer 3–5 minutes until glossy.
Toss hot chicken with sauce until well coated.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.
