Juicy pan-seared chicken in a rich garlic butter sauce, inspired by Texas Roadhouse flavors. One skillet, bold taste, and simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)

  • 4 tbsp salted butter, divided

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Optional: red pepper flakes, lemon juice, splash of cream, fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.

  • Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

  • Lower heat, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until garlic is fragrant.

  • Spoon garlic butter over chicken for 2–3 minutes. Optional: add cream or lemon.

  • Let rest 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
