Juicy pan-seared chicken in a rich garlic butter sauce, inspired by Texas Roadhouse flavors. One skillet, bold taste, and simple ingredients.
4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
4 tbsp salted butter, divided
1 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional: red pepper flakes, lemon juice, splash of cream, fresh parsley
Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Lower heat, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until garlic is fragrant.
Spoon garlic butter over chicken for 2–3 minutes. Optional: add cream or lemon.
Let rest 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
