Crockpot Butter Chicken is a creamy and comforting dish made with tender chicken slow-cooked in a rich tomato and spice sauce.

2 pounds chicken, cut into chunks
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Cook garlic and ginger in butter and oil.
  • Add chicken and tomato sauce to crockpot.
  • Stir in spices and mix well.
  • Cook on low 5–6 hours or high 3–4 hours.
  • Stir in cream before serving.

Notes
