Soft flatbread filled with creamy butter chicken, topped with fresh herbs and onions for a rich and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds chicken
1/2 cup yogurt
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon ginger
1 cup crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup cream
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
4 flatbreads
2 tablespoons cilantro
1/4 onion

Instructions

  • Marinate chicken with yogurt and spices.
  • Cook chicken until browned.
  • Remove and sauté garlic and ginger.
  • Add tomatoes and simmer.
  • Stir in cream and spices.
  • Return chicken and cook through.
  • Add lemon juice.
  • Warm flatbread and assemble.
  • Top with onions and cilantro.

Notes

Do not boil after adding cream.
Use thighs for juicier texture.
