1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  • Thaw and pat shrimp dry.
  • Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  • Combine cornstarch and water in a separate bowl.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque, then remove.
  • Add sauce mixture to the skillet and simmer briefly.
  • Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
  • Return shrimp to the pan and coat with sauce.
