A simple one-pot rice cooker dish combining fluffy rice, soft eggs, and rich tomato flavor.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups jasmine rice
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
3 large eggs
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups water or broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons green onions

Instructions

  • Rinse rice until water runs clear.
  • Add rice and liquid to rice cooker.
  • Layer tomatoes, garlic, and seasonings.
  • Cook using standard rice setting.
  • Crack eggs over hot rice after cooking.
  • Cover and let eggs cook for 5–7 minutes.
  • Mix gently and drizzle sesame oil.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve.

Notes

  • Do not add too much liquid.
    Mix gently to keep rice texture intact.
