1 pound boneless chicken breast, cut into small pieces
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 loaf French bread
4 tablespoons butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 red onion, sliced
1 small bell pepper, sliced

Instructions

  • Mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, and spices in a bowl. Add chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  • Cook chicken in a pan over medium-high heat until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Mix butter with garlic and parsley, then spread over sliced bread.
  • Toast bread for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Top bread with cooked chicken, onions, peppers, and cheese.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Marinate overnight for deeper flavor. Use thighs for juicier chicken. Add chili for extra heat.
